POSITION DESCRIPTION: Senior AI Data Analyst / Analytics Team Lead Location: Pentagon, Arlington, VA Status: Contingent Hire - Full-Time - On-Site Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance Required MUST HAVE: Demonstrated experience leading Department of Defense analytics initiatives, artificial intelligence (AI), data integration, business intelligence, and executive decision-support activities supporting senior military leadership. Position Summary The Senior AI Data Analyst / Analytics Team Lead provides senior-level data analytics, artificial intelligence, and business intelligence support to Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC), Installations and Logistics (I&L), Global Positioning Network (GPN) Program. Working on-site at the Pentagon, the position serves as the Government's principal contractor lead for GPN analytics, providing technical leadership, executive decision support, and data-driven recommendations to senior leaders. The Senior AI Data Analyst leads an off-site analytics team responsible for collecting, integrating, validating, analyzing, and visualizing logistics and operational data from multiple Government sources. The position coordinates closely with Headquarters Marine Corps organizations, Center for Naval Analyses (CNA), Combat Development & Integration (CD&I), Installations & Logistics (I&L), and other Government stakeholders to ensure data quality, analytical consistency, and mission relevance. The position develops executive-level dashboards, analytical reports, predictive models, data files, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations that support logistics modernization, operational readiness, and senior leader decision-making. Required Qualifications 3U.S. Citizen with an Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance and ability to obtain a CAC card. 3Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related discipline. 3Eight (8+) years of experience supporting Department of Defense data analytics, business intelligence, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or operational analysis. 3Demonstrated experience supporting Headquarters Marine Corps, Department of the Navy, Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, or equivalent Department of Defense headquarters organizations. 3Experience leading analytics teams and coordinating multiple concurrent analytical projects. 3Experience integrating data from multiple enterprise systems to develop authoritative data sets and executive decision-support products. 3Experience designing, developing, and maintaining executive dashboards, performance metrics, scorecards, and visualization products. 3Experience applying statistical analysis, predictive analytics, machine learning, or artificial intelligence techniques to operational, logistics, maintenance, or business problems. 3Experience preparing executive briefings, analytical reports, decision papers, and senior leadership recommendations. 3Demonstrated ability to establish and enforce enterprise data standards, quality assurance processes, and analytical methodologies. 3Experience coordinating analytical requirements with Government stakeholders, senior leaders, and external organizations. 3Experience using Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, R, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and other enterprise analytics platforms. 3Excellent analytical, technical writing, briefing, facilitation, and executive communication skills. Preferred Qualifications 3Master's degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline. 3Experience supporting Marine Corps logistics modernization, Force Design, Global Positioning Network (GPN), Condition-Based Maintenance Plus (CBM+), or operational readiness initiatives. 3Experience working with CNA, CD&I, Headquarters Marine Corps, or Department of the Navy analytics organizations. 3Experience developing AI-enabled decision-support tools and predictive analytics models. 3Experience supporting cloud-based analytics platforms, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Databricks, AWS, or equivalent enterprise analytics environments. 3Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification, or equivalent process improvement experience. 3Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desirable. Primary Duties 3Serve as the senior contractor lead for Global Positioning Network (GPN) analytics supporting Headquarters Marine Corps leadership. 3Lead and supervise an off-site analytics team responsible for developing analytical products, dashboards, reports, data models, and executive decision-support tools. 3Coordinate analytical activities with CNA, Combat Development & Integration (CD&I), Installations & Logistics (I&L), Headquarters Marine Corps organizations, and other Government stakeholders. 3Develop, maintain, and validate authoritative data files supporting GPN operations, logistics analysis, readiness reporting, and strategic planning. 3Design, develop, and maintain executive dashboards, scorecards, performance metrics, and visualization products supporting senior leaders. 3Apply artificial intelligence, machine learning, statistical analysis, predictive analytics, and business intelligence techniques to identify operational trends, risks, opportunities, and recommendations. 3Establish, implement, and enforce enterprise data standards, quality-control procedures, and analytical methodologies to ensure consistency and integrity of all analytical products. 3Integrate data from multiple Government systems to create comprehensive decision-support products supporting Marine Corps logistics and operational planning. 3Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses of logistics, readiness, maintenance, operational, and business data. 3Prepare executive-level briefings, white papers, information papers, analytical reports, and strategic recommendations supporting Senior Executive Service (SES) and General Officer leadership. 3Support development of key performance indicators (KPIs), performance metrics, trend analyses, and predictive models used to measure organizational effectiveness and mission readiness. 3Coordinate analytical requirements, priorities, schedules, and deliverables with Government leadership and external stakeholders. 3Mentor analysts, promote best practices in analytics and AI, and ensure technical quality across all team products. 3Support data governance, cybersecurity, privacy, and records-management requirements in accordance with Department of Defense policies. 3Identify opportunities to automate analytical workflows and improve efficiency through AI, scripting, data engineering, and advanced analytics technologies. 3Perform additional analytics, artificial intelligence, business intelligence, data science, and technical leadership duties necessary to accomplish contract requirements.
