Senior Accountant

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; CPA preferred.
• Experience in high transaction volume accounting departments.
• Multi-company and inter-company accounting experience preferred.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Sage-Intact) preferred.
• Strong MS Excel skills, including advanced formulas and chart creation.
• Extensive knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial reporting and analysis for multiple entities.
• Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accuracy.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reconciliations.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards.
• Mentor and train junior accounting staff.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial goals.
