Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in Meridian, Idaho. In this key role, you will help ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations by supporting month-end and year-end close activities, financial reporting, payroll accounting, tax compliance, and general ledger management. You'll play an important role in maintaining compliance with U.S. GAAP, strengthening accounting processes, and partnering with teams across the organization to support sound financial decision-making.

What You'll Do- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including client invoicing, journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Perform technical accounting research and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Maintain and account for lease activity, including the application of ASC 842 lease accounting requirements.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items.
- Manage payroll accounting processes, including payroll-related reconciliations, accruals, tax reporting, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and file multi-state sales and use tax returns, ensuring compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
- Assist with the audit and standardization of tax reporting in external systems.
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve processes, controls, and reporting accuracy.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with operational departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
- Assist with creating reports on financial performance for internal use.
- Support special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, month-end close, account reconciliations, general ledger accounting, and financial statement preparation.
- Experience with multi-state sales and use tax compliance, payroll accounting, lease accounting (ASC 842), and financial audits.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, ERP systems such as NetSuite, and payroll platforms such as Dayforce.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, and thrive in both independent and collaborative work environments.

- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
Physical and Sensory Requirements- This position is primarily office-based and requires extended periods of sitting, working on a computer, and reviewing detailed financial data, reports, and spreadsheets. The incumbent must be able to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and through virtual meeting platforms, while maintaining focus and accuracy during complex analytical work. Occasional movement throughout the office and the ability to lift or carry files and office materials up to 15 pounds may be required.
