Role Summary:QuotaPath is looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our collaborative sales team! In this role, you will work directly with prospective customers to show them the QuotaPath platform and advise them on building the most effective, motivating compensation plans for their business. Your own commissions will be tracked within QuotaPath, so you will be very familiar with (and likely a daily user of) the product you are selling.
Reporting directly to the Sales Team Manager, you will receive consistent 1-on-1 coaching and growth opportunities in the role, and you will directly influence our overall product roadmap.
We're an AI-forward team. We expect our AEs to use AI tools every day for account research, call prep, outreach, and follow-up, and to keep experimenting with better ways to work. As our product's AI capabilities grow, you'll also be helping customers understand how AI can change the way they design and manage compensation.
Our tech stack consists of Salesforce, Gong, Apollo.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, QuotaPath, Qwilr, and DocuSign.
Key Responsibilities:- Generate new business opportunities through outbound tactics
- Run a full end-to-end sales cycle - from opportunity generation through contract signature
- Guide potential new customers through an evaluation of QuotaPath, with an emphasis on consultation around compensation plan design and visibility into commissions earned
- Act as a trusted compensation design & commissions advisor to potential new customers
- Partner with Sales Engineering to show potential new customers how their compensation plans will fit within QuotaPath
- Help potential new customers build their comp plans within QuotaPath to test how the product will work for them
- Use AI tools to work more efficiently, from prospect research and personalized outreach to deal summaries and proposals, and share what works with the team
- Escalate product feedback from potential customers to our product team for prioritization
- Collaborate closely with Marketing to evolve our messaging with potential customers based on what's resonating in conversations
Candidate Profile:Apply even if you don't check all these boxes! This is an overview of what we're looking for in a candidate.
Required- Remote, working CST/EST hours (8:45 AM - 5 PM CST) - or, if based in Austin, TX, hybrid in-person 2-3 days a week (Tues.-Thurs., East Austin office)
- 4+ years in an Account Executive role, preferably in SaaS/software sales.
- Experience with outbound pipeline generation
Ideal- SaaS/software selling experience
- Experience with proof of concept work and building in technical products
- Proven track record in outbound pipeline generation and engagement with senior Finance and RevOps personnel. (Directors & VPs of Revenue Operations & Finance)
- Experience at an early- or growth-stage startup, and you're comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities
- Hands-on with AI tools (e.g., Claude, Gong AI) as part of your daily sales workflow, and you're curious about what's next
- A builder mindset: you'd rather improve a process than wait for one to be handed to you
- Technical acumen, particularly with our tech stack (Salesforce, Gong, etc.) or similar platforms
You'll thrive here if you: - Want ownership and visibility, not a narrowly defined role
- Get energized by change instead of frustrated by it
- Treat AI as a teammate that helps you sell smarter, not a shortcut
- Like coaching and giving feedback as much as getting it
What We Offer:- Competitive base salary ($110,000) with on-target earnings of $220,000.
- Generous equity, comprehensive health coverage (90% of employee premiums paid), flexible PTO, a professional development budget, and 401(k) contributions.
- A culture that values curiosity, trust, and data-driven decision-making.
Join Us! If you're a high-achiever who leads with empathy and curiosity, we'd love to hear from you. Help us redefine the sales commission landscape, celebrating your journey to achieving goals every step of the way.
