About the RoleYou'll own security from groundbreaking to go-live on greenfield data center campus builds, shaping how every site comes online securely and stays that way. This role is built for an operator who's equally comfortable auditing guard force compliance against post orders and being elbow-deep in Electronic Security System programming and commissioning. Door hardware validation, critical material moves, deployment of our advanced security tech stack: if security touches it, you'll own it. We're looking for a seasoned practitioner who has lived the full data center lifecycle: someone who speaks construction and operations fluently, who's deeply technical, and who's energized by hard problems and the pace of getting things built.
Responsibilities:- Own end-to-end physical security across a portfolio of greenfield data center campuses, from groundbreak through commissioning and into steady-state operations
- Define and enforce post orders for contract guard services, holding the force to a high bar of discipline and performance on every site; manage the vendor strategically
- Partner closely with engineering teams and trades to drive the seamless, on-schedule deployment of physical security systems
- Carry FluidStack's security commitments to our customers, making sure we hit every contractual milestone, not just the easy ones
- Design and execute site-specific strategies for secure material movement and the protection of critical assets throughout deployment and into operations
Basic Qualifications:- 10+ years hyperscale data center security experience
- Comfortable working with trades and reading construction documents
- Deep knowledge of Electronic Security Systems
- Willing to travel 50%
Preferred Qualifications:- 5 years security integrator experience
- Guard force experience
- Supporting certifications or accreditations to prove professional development in relevant fields such as ASIS PSP, Comptia Network+, etc..
Salary & Benefits- Competitive total compensation package (salary + equity).
- Retirement or pension plan, in line with local norms.
- Health, dental, and vision insurance.
- Generous PTO policy, in line with local norms.
The base salary range for this position is $300,000 - $400,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location. This range represents our good faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting. Total compensation may also include equity in the form of stock options.
We are committed to pay equity and transparency.
