Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience as a Security Engineer
• Proficiency with firewalls, proxy servers, and VPNs
• Familiarity with information security best practices and frameworks
• Understanding of current cyberthreats and infiltration tactics
• Experience with network intrusion detection and response
• Knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools like Nessus or Qualys
• Current security certifications preferred
• Solid grasp of computer networks and common communication protocols
• Ability to analyze network traffic using Deep Packet Inspection tools
• Advanced proficiency in Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems
• Strong understanding of attack vectors and response strategies
