Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Seat Design preferred.
  • Expertise in Seat frame design required, not just overall Seat design capability.
  • Experience in designing Plastic parts, Foam pads, and Wire harnesses essential.
  • Familiarity with Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, Tolerance design, and Design Review necessary.
  • Strong logical thinking skills to analyze problems and develop countermeasures.
  • Proven experience as a team leader, with effective communication skills for reporting and managing teams.
  • Demonstrated sense of responsibility and efficiency in achieving project goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design process for Seat frames and related components.
  • Develop and document design failure analyses and tolerance designs.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve design issues.
  • Communicate effectively with external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers.
  • Manage team's progress and report to upper management on project status.
  • Oversee the design of plastic parts and foam padding for seat structures.
  • Be flexible with working hours to accommodate high workload periods.

Full Job Description
  • Preferred to have 10+ years experience in Seat Design.
  • Preferred to be an expert especially for Seat frame not only having the capability of entire Seat design.
  • Need to have the experience of designing Plastic parts, Foam pad, Wire harness
  • Need to be able to work for documentation of Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, Tolerance design, Design Review, etc.
  • Need to have Skillset of Logical thinking is critical to think about problem-finding, the root cause, countermeasure, trade-off, schedule, who needs to be communicated to resolve the problem.
  • Need to have experience of team leader and be able to properly communicate with his/her boss by reporting / discussing the problem and/or progress, with managing his/her followers (team members).
  • Should have a strong sense of responsibility to work BEST to achieve the goal. A sense of efficiency is also needed.
  • Can communicate with the external stakeholders, customer and suppliers, on behalf of client;
  • Can work overtime flexibly, in case of high workload..
