Full Job Description
(U)Systems Engineer with experience interfacing wideband digitizing receivers and software defined radio systems to processing software running on standard general-purpose hardware. Familiarity with the following are highly desirable: VITA-49, low-level drivers software, RHEL, multi-Gigabit Ethernet over copper and fiber optics, RF sources, amplifiers, filters, dividers, etc.

(U)Successful candidate will evaluate new hardware from multiple vendors and work with the software team to integrate new hardware, optimize performance with current hardware, and troubleshoot problems with receiver/digitizer hardware.

(U) This position will be responsible for performing site measurements, inspections, and survey at an OCONUS field site.

(U) There will be a focus on 5G in the survey. The individual is expected to be TDY for approximately 90 days during the survey period.
