OverviewTISTA Science and Technology is seeking a Scrum Master to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily scrum, backlog refinement, sprint review and retrospective in two-week sprints.
- Keep sprint backlogs, impediments, risks and Agile metrics current in VA Jira.
- Coach the team and the VA Product Owner on SAFe 6.0 practice.
- Feed team objectives, capacity and dependencies into PI Planning.
- Escalate risks and blockers to the Release Train Engineer and program leadership.
Qualifications
- 5+ years as Scrum Master or Agile coach.
- Experience on a SAFe Agile Release Train.
- Jira administration of sprint boards and metrics.
Desired Skills:
- VA or federal health program experience.
- SAFe 6.0 practice.
- Coaching product owners on backlog refinement.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree.
- SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) required; SAFe Advanced Scrum Master a plus.
Clearance:
- Must be able to obtain a Tier 2 / Moderate Risk Public Trust and a VA PIV credential.

Pay Range:
- The suggested pay for this position ranges from $80,546 to $92,875.
- The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
- Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
