Full Job Description
The Scrum Master will help oversee scrum/kanban technology teams using Agile methodology best practices to ensure delivery success and good team morale. They also act as a buffer between the scrum/kanban team and line of business/project management and maintain a stable working environment for the team by helping the team overcome obstacles impeding their success. Performs other projects and duties as assigned.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:
• Lead the kanban/scrum team in using Agile methodology and kanban/scrum practices.
• Help the product owner and development team to achieve customer satisfaction and deliver on key projects activities and systems/software/hardware maintenance duties.
• Lead the kanban/scrum and development teams in self-organization.
• Remove impediments and coach the kanban/scrum team on removing impediments.
• Help the kanban/scrum and development teams to identify and fill in blanks in the Agile framework.
• Resolve conflicts and issues that occur.
• Help the kanban/scrum team achieve higher levels of kanban/scrum maturity.
• Support the product owner and provide education where needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
• Prior experience on a leading technology teams via projects or direct reports.
• Ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict.
• Knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in scrum/kanban.
• Experience with successful Agile techniques.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills.
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
• Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction.

Industry and Work Experience:
• Minimum 3 years of technology delivery experience required.
• Prior management experience preferred.

Academic:
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Scaled Agile certification preferred.
