Synergy ECP is seeking a highly skilled and versatile individual to join our organization in a hybrid role as a SCIF Manager and IT Support Administrator for one of our prime contracts. As the SCIF Manager, you will be responsible for managing a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF). Additionally, you will provide technical support and assistance to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will hold a TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph clearance and possess a strong background in both SCIF management and IT support.
SCIF Manager:
- Coordinate with facility management, security officers, and other stakeholders to ensure the SCIF meets all physical security requirements
- Develop and implement security protocols, procedures, and access controls to safeguard classified information
- Maintain accurate records of access, visitor logs, and security incidents within the SCIF
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with security standards
- Stay updated on changes in security regulations and implement necessary adjustments to maintain SCIF compliance
IT Support Administrator:
- Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications
- Assist with user account management, password resets, and access control administration
- Conduct system upgrades and software installations as required
- Monitor network performance and proactively address potential bottlenecks or security vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices
- Assist in training end-users on basic IT procedures and best practices
Requirements
- BS/BA Degree plus 10 years of related experience or no degree and 14 years of related experience
- TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph clearance is mandatory
- Proven experience in SCIF management, including setting up and maintaining SCIFs
- Strong knowledge of physical security protocols and requirements related to SCIFs
- Proficiency in implementing and maintaining access controls, visitor management systems, and security documentation
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve IT issues
- Solid understanding of computer systems, networks, and software applications
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems, hardware troubleshooting, and software installation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear technical instructions to non-technical individuals
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
