Full Job Description
General Description:

The Scientific Partnership Medical Director (SPMD) is a field-based senior medical role within North America Medical Affairs (NAMA) at BeOne Medicines, reporting to the Head, Scientific Partnership Medical Directors. This role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive enterprise medical strategy at priority US health systems, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), and oncology networks within an assigned geographic region.

The SPMD serves as the single, strategic scientific partner for institutional leadership at assigned accounts, coordinating BeOne Medicines' full oncology portfolio and scientific resources to address system-level healthcare priorities. This is a portfolio-wide, cross-tumor-type role - not product-specific - engaging enterprise leaders across clinical, evidence, and innovation priorities.

The role collaborates closely across a matrix of internal functions including: NAMA, R&D, Market Access, Clinical Operations, Field Medical Directors (FMDs), Regional Medical Science Liaisons (RMSLs), Home Office Medical (HOM), Global Medical Affairs (GMA), HEOR/RWE, and Franchise/Commercial Leadership.

Essential Functions of the Job:
  • Serve as the primary medical interface and single point of scientific contact for C-suite and D-suite leadership at priority US health systems and oncology networks within the assigned geographic territory
  • Develop, maintain, and execute a clear enterprise-level medical account strategy plan that reflects NAMA, R&D, and Franchise/Commercial Leadership priorities for each assigned health system
  • Engage health system leaders holistically, addressing system-wide scientific and clinical priorities rather than isolated, product-specific needs
  • Champion innovative scientific engagement opportunities including clinical trial placement, investigator-initiated research, and evidence generation programs tailored to each system's strategic priorities
  • Orchestrate and coordinate BeOne Medicines' medical and scientific resources - including FMDs, RMSLs, HOM, GMA, HEOR/RWE, and Clinical Operations - to comprehensively address the scientific and evidence needs of decision-makers at assigned health systems
  • Develop and drive scientific information exchanges, data presentations, and evidence-based dialogues with institutional medical and scientific leaders
  • Coordinate BeOne Medicines' full oncology portfolio representation across tumor types and therapeutic platforms, with emphasis on engagement early in the development process
  • Lead through influence across BeOne Medicines' internal matrix partners - including FMDs, RMSLs, HOM, GMA, HEOR/RWE, R&D, Market Access, Clinical Operations, and Franchise/Commercial Leadership - to deliver coordinated enterprise solutions at assigned health systems
  • Build and sustain strong medical relationships across BeOne Medicines functions and with key scientific decision-makers at priority institutions
  • Communicate account-level insights, scientific trends, and institutional priorities back to NAMA leadership to inform strategy and resource decisions
  • Develop and implement integrated account strategies synchronized with NAMA, R&D, Market Access, Clinical Operations, and Franchise/Commercial Leadership objectives
  • Support change management efforts embedding new scientific engagement strategies across internal and external stakeholders
  • Attend and represent BeOne Medicines at key national and regional oncology congresses, advisory boards, and health system scientific forums
  • Be accountable for compliant business practices in all field activities
