Scheduling Manager for our Circular Products (CP) Business Unit. The
Scheduling Manager provides strategic direction for production planning, capacity utilization, and order fulfillment performance across the organization while directly overseeing our Scheduling Supervisors and providing leadership across the scheduling team.
This
Scheduling Manager will have accountabilities in both Winsted and Sauk Rapids but will be primarily based in Sauk Rapids.
Job Title: Scheduling Manager
Location: onsite in Sauk Rapids, MN
Salary Range: $107,000 - $130,000/year (Exempt)

Key Roles and Responsibilities as a
Scheduling Manager: - Lead and develop Scheduling Supervisors and their teams through coaching, accountability, and performance management
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance schedule attainment, inventory performance, and on-time delivery
- Oversee management of PFEP (Plan for Every Part) and planning parameters within ERP systems
- Develop and maintain standardized scheduling processes across value streams
- Collaborate between Sales, Supply Chain, Finance and Operations to accomplish business unit targets
As a Scheduling Manager
, you will:
- Provide leadership and direction to Scheduling Supervisors and their teams
- Establish scheduling policies, procedures, and performance expectations
- Lead the Production Control process to achieve on-time delivery and customer service objectives
- Direct root cause investigations related to schedule disruptions, inventory shortages, and delivery performance issues
- Partner with Operations leadership to balance capacity and drive workforce productivity.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain leadership to align material planning strategies with production requirements
- Lead ERP scheduling optimization initiatives and continuous improvement projects
- Develop standard work, training programs, and best practices for scheduling personnel
- Serve as the organizational subject matter expert for scheduling processes and ERP planning functionality
- Support annual operating plans, financial forecasts, and strategic growth initiatives through capacity and production analysis
Role Qualifications as a
Scheduling Manager: - Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field preferred
- 7+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, or operations management
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing supervisors, planners, schedulers, or cross-functional teams preferred
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
- Expertise in manufacturing planning, scheduling, and capacity management
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and scheduling methodologies
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills
- Strong understanding of financial targets, inventory management, and operational KPIs
- Experience leading cross-functional improvement initiatives
- Develop, coach, and retain high-performing scheduling teams through effective leadership of Scheduling Supervisors
- Proven ability to influence decisions across multiple organizational levels
- Root cause analysis, critical thinking, and strategic decision-making abilities
