Full Job Description
About This Role

Restoring domestic nuclear fuel production is a race against a real deadline to keep America's reactors running and its nuclear expansion on track. Our schedule is a mission-critical asset to close the nation's fuel supply gap and end reliance on foreign, state-controlled suppliers.

As an experienced Scheduler at General Matter, you will play a key role in the planning, coordination, and delivery of the large-scale infrastructure that brings our enrichment facilities from concept through full-scale operations. You will develop and maintain the detailed, integrated project schedules that leadership and project teams rely on to make timely, informed decisions. You will work across the organization, from construction and site teams to design, procurement, regulatory affairs, and program management, to keep schedules accurate and aligned, with clear visibility on the critical path across every phase of the work.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain fully logic-driven Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules in Oracle Primavera P6; perform critical-path analysis, forecasting, and what-if/scenario studies, and report results to leadership with clear recommendations.
  • Integrate design, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and non-construction milestones (regulatory, licensing, permitting) into the schedule so the critical path reflects the full set of program drivers.
  • Own the Basis of Schedule and scheduling standards, systems (EPS, templates, activity coding), and benchmarks that standardize durations and keep site-level schedules consistent across projects.
  • Lead schedule risk assessment and mitigation planning when delays or risks are identified.
  • Perform quality reviews of schedules produced by onsite/field schedulers, ensuring their site-level schedules roll up cleanly into the integrated plan, and track schedule performance with the project controls and finance teams.
  • Conduct site visits to validate progress and contractor performance against schedule, and provide schedule input for planning, contract negotiations, and leadership reporting.

Basic Qualifications

  • Deep, hands-on expertise with the Critical Path Method (CPM), building and maintaining fully logic-driven schedules from scratch (WBS setup, calendars, activity coding, resource loading and leveling) for large, multi-billion-dollar facilities, not just tracking milestones or bar charts.
  • 12+ years of planning and scheduling experience on large-scale EPC or industrial capital projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Advanced proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction means and methods across the civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining integrated schedules across multiple interdependent workstreams.
  • Ability to lead planning and progress meetings across functions, disciplines, and trades, and to direct both internal and external scheduling resources.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex schedule data into clear, concise updates for stakeholders and leadership.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience in a fast-paced engineering or highly technical environment, with a resourceful approach to delivering under tight timelines or budget constraints.
  • Experience integrating regulatory, licensing, and permitting milestones into project schedules.
  • Background on mega-projects such as nuclear, power, or other mission-critical facilities; data-center or high-tech infrastructure experience also a plus.
  • Familiarity with construction software such as Aconex, Oracle Unifier, Bluebeam, and CAD.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Certifications such as PMP or PSP (AACE).

Additional Requirements
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends as necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $160,000 to $220,000 annually.

Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. Please note that the stated salary range is an estimate and may be adjusted based on market conditions, business needs, or other factors. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
