Overview

As a Analyst, you will be the go-to person in support of large-scale acquisition programs. Responsibilities

Duties will include:

  • Performing schedule risk assessments
  • Analysis of actual versus baseline and estimated duration
  • Evaluation of schedule progress against the plan
  • Evaluation of the contractor's written reports
  • Critical path analysis.


Work may also include:

  • Schedule estimating
  • Substantiation of confidence level generation
  • Schedule/prediction analysis
  • Performance measurement (earned value) and project forecasting.
  • Developing and maintaining of program roadmaps built from the MS Project Schedules is also a requirement for this position.
  • This position will have daily interface with government personnel and prime contractors.


Skills Required

  • The ideal candidate will have 8 years of DoD schedule management experience.
  • The position requires an organized, detailed-oriented individual with strong customer-oriented communication skills and a minimum eight years proficiency in Microsoft Project, MS Office Suite (e.g. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), and 5 years of experience with duties/assignments specifically in support of space programs.
  • Familiarity with other schedule and analysis tools (i.e., Milestones Professional, SSI Tools, Power BI) and Government programs is desired.
  • Successful candidates will be proficient in performing program system level schedule analyses and oversight; generating schedule assessments; and preparing reports/presentations.
  • A working knowledge of Department of Defense acquisition project scheduling, schedule management, scheduling, and earned value management guidelines are required.
  • Reviewing Integrated Master Schedules and helping identify opportunities for condensing and/or simplification of schedule detail.
  • Identifying methods for creation/development of a critical path.
  • Helping generate summary views for presentation.
  • Identifying opportunities and/or making suggestions for ways to de-conflict test schedules.
  • Helping identify additional opportunities for analysis to demonstrate schedule robustness.
  • Providing input into methods for effective incorporation of risks into a schedule.
  • Experience with Senior Leader engagement and large scale program integration.
  • Must have Secret security clearance and TS eligible is required
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Salary Range: $90,000 - $135,000/Year, DOE
  • Open until filled


Education

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
