This role pays between 82,000 and 94,000 depending on experience, education, and certifications.

We are hiring a Human Resources Partner! This role will work closely with the Human Resources Director to empower both individuals and the community to reach their full potential, with a particular focus on engagement and compliance.

Our Human Resources Partner:

  • Contributes to talent acquisition by initiating and processing pre-employment checks, extending employment offers, conducting new employee orientation, and ensuring timely communication with new hires and comfortability with community culture.
  • Strengthens employee retention by encouraging participation in employee engagement tools, and identifying trends while supporting the Human Resources Director in sharing trends with community leaders.
  • Coordinates, develops, and continuously improves the onboarding and new hire process.
  • Updates employee communication boards, digital signage and prepare employee educational resource materials.
  • Participates and support employee engagement activities and planning initiatives.
  • Compiles data that supports new approaches to business objectives, productivity, and the development of Human Resources (HR) within the community.
  • Partners with the Human Resources Director to manage employee relation concerns including investigating concerns related to working conditions, disciplinary actions, and employee complaints; follow up with guidance and recommendations for conflict resolution to managers and employees.

  • Maintains current and historical employee HRIS records, status changes and employee files. Ensure regulatory compliance regarding new employees, terminations, changes/updates.
  • Monitors workplace practices to ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws; partner with the Human Resources Director to provide guidance and interpretation of existing policies.
  • Manages the Workers' Compensation Program and required Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) reporting.
  • Collaborates with the Transforming Age corporate HR team to support organizational programs and initiatives accurately and consistently across the community.
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation to community leaders and employees.
  • Responds to unemployment claims and attend hearings, as requested by the Human Resources Director.
  • Researches external HR data, trends, and best practices to make appropriate recommendations for improvements.
  • Serves as the resident expert of benefits programs, promote awareness and understanding of benefits value, assist with resolving benefits issues, and support open enrollment and benefits initiatives.
  • Serves on the safety committee and work to ensure employees understand safety policies and practices.
  • Manages, tracks and file all leave of absences, employee evaluations, licenses, certifications, state and federal requirements, and other various reports in HRIS system (Workday).
  • Collects, analyzes, and manages data entry for strategic reporting on various HR initiatives.
  • Supports the Mission, Vision, and Values of Transforming Age in all areas of responsibility.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


What you need to succeed:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent. Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, healthcare or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of prior work experience in human resources.
  • Prior experience in healthcare, hospitality, senior living, or a related field is preferred.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft (MS) Office and HRIS databases (Workday preferred).
  • Oral and written communication skills demonstrating a high level of professionalism and influence.
  • Working knowledge of employment law.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certifications are preferred.
  • Ability to multitask, working several projects at a time and managing priorities.
