Job Summary
The SAP Vistex Project Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of Vistex initiatives as part of a large-scale SAP S/4HANA modernization program. The role requires strong SAP project management expertise, hands-on leadership of at least one full Vistex implementation, and experience managing upgrades, migrations, and business processes involving rebates, chargebacks, pricing, and customer and supplier incentives. The Project Manager will align Vistex activities with the broader SAP S/4HANA roadmap, coordinate business and technical stakeholders, manage project risks and dependencies, and oversee testing, cutover, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization. This is a long-term engagement expected to support a 2-3 year SAP S/4HANA modernization program.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of Vistex initiatives, including upgrades and migrations from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.
• Manage and coordinate activities across Vistex Recharge, chargebacks, rebates, and customer and supplier incentives.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, manage scope and schedules, and report project status to leadership.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Vistex, engaging with business and technical stakeholders to challenge assumptions and drive decisions.
• Ensure Vistex plans, deliverables, and milestones align with the overall SAP S/4HANA modernization roadmap.
• Partner with business leaders, SAP functional teams, vendors, and system integrators to establish alignment and accountability.
• Identify and manage cross-workstream risks, dependencies, testing activities, and cutover requirements.
• Oversee integrated planning, RAID management, testing coordination, and go-live readiness.
• Support cutover planning, deployment, hypercare, and transition to ongoing operations.
• Provide clear project updates, communicate risks, and drive timely decisions across stakeholder groups.
Required Qualifications
• 10-12+ years of project or program management experience, with a significant focus on SAP delivery.
• Recent, hands-on leadership of at least one end-to-end Vistex implementation, upgrade, or major transformation.
• Demonstrated experience with Vistex modules and processes, including rebates, chargebacks, pricing, incentive administration, or Recharge.
• Working knowledge of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA, including Order-to-Cash and Finance integration points.
• Proven ability to own project delivery, challenge stakeholders, and manage communications in a business-led program.
• Experience managing integrated project planning, RAID, testing, cutover, and go-live stabilization.
• Ability to operate independently, bring structure to ambiguity, and maintain a strong focus on execution.
• Excellent executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, or distribution industries.
• Experience supporting a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation on SAP RISE.
• Direct experience working with Vistex or a recognized Vistex implementation partner.
• PMP, Agile, Scrum, or a comparable professional certification.
