By providing subject matter expertise on retail store operations processes and their SAP system dependencies, this role helps ensure system reliability, supports process improvement initiatives, and enables data-driven decision-making that directly impacts store-level performance and the broader organization's operational goals.

Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Store Operations and technical engineering teams for SAP S/4 IS-Retail, POS, ECOM, and SAP CAR systems, gathering business requirements and translating them into clear functional specifications, to ensure technical solutions accurately address store operations needs and minimize costly rework.
  • Partner with Distribution Center (DC) and Direct Store Delivery (DSD) receiving stakeholders to document current-state processes and desired outcomes within S/4 IS-Retail, by facilitating discussions between business users and engineering teams, to ensure technical solutions support accurate inventory and supply chain continuity at the store level.
  • Coordinate and validate UAT efforts for enhancements and releases across POS, ECOM, SAP CAR, and S/4 IS-Retail platforms, by organizing business user testing, capturing feedback, and confirming outcomes meet documented requirements, to ensure technical solutions are business-ready prior to store deployment.
  • Analyze data and transaction flow discrepancies between SAP CAR, POS, and Inventory Management systems (e.g., sales, stock, pricing mismatches), by working with engineering teams to define root cause and desired resolution, in order to ensure fixes align with business needs and prevent recurring store-level impacts.
  • Partner with Store Operations leadership to identify process improvement opportunities in inventory management, receiving, and POS/ECOM workflows, by analyzing operational data and facilitating requirements sessions with engineering teams, to ensure delivered solutions increase efficiency and reduce shrink, errors, or costs.
  • Develop and maintain business-facing documentation (process flows, requirements, training materials) for store-facing systems (POS, Handhelds, receiving processes), by partnering with both store operations and engineering teams, so requirements and outcomes are clearly documented and consistently communicated.
  • Support store operations and field teams on new or updated functionality across POS, ECOM, and inventory/receiving systems, by translating technical changes into business-friendly guidance, to drive adoption and reduce error rates at the store level.
