Role Overview:This role is for an SAP IS Retail Consultant with strong functional expertise to analyze retail business processes, configure SAP solutions, and provide comprehensive support. The consultant will be instrumental in implementing and maintaining SAP IS Retail modules, focusing on merchandise management, pricing, assortment planning, and critical integration points with other SAP modules.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze retail business processes and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
- Configure SAP IS Retail modules, including Merchandise Management (MM), Pricing & Promotions, and Assortment Planning.
- Work with various integration points, such as SAP MM, SD, and FICO.
- Support the integration of POS (Point of Sale) systems.
- Handle master data management for articles, sites, and assortments.
- Perform thorough testing, including unit testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Provide production support and efficiently resolve issues.
- Collaborate closely with business users to gather requirements and deliver tailored SAP solutions.
Required Skills:- Strong knowledge of SAP IS Retail processes.
- Experience with Article Master Data, Listing & Assortments, Pricing procedures, and Retail procurement.
- Knowledge of SAP MM (Materials Management) and SAP SD (Sales & Distribution).
- Familiarity with integration points, including FICO.
- Understanding of retail business, including store operations, inventory management, and supply chain.
Qualifications:- 8-10 years of experience in SAP IS Retail.
Preferred Skills:- Basic ABAP debugging knowledge.
