Job Summary:
The resource will be part of the Integration team working on PI/PO and ABAP side of integrations for Materials Management, Sales & Distribution, Warehouse Management, Finance.
- Design, build, configure, and support SAP PI/PO interfaces for SAP S/4HANA. SAP ECC and connected systems
- Work on end-to-end SAP and non-SAP integrations
- Develop interfaces using ABAP proxies, IDOCs, oData
- Handle interface configuration, message mapping, routing, communication channels, and monitoring
- Enhance Standard Enterprise services
- Collaborate with the Functional and Business teams to understand requirements and issues and provide solutions
- Participate in code review sessions with other team members
- Prepare interface design and technical documentation
Skill set required:
At least 7+ years' experience in developing integrations using PI/PO and S/4, specifically in the following areas but not limited to:
- Object Oriented ABAP
- IDOC development
- Enhancement (User-Exists, BADIs)
- Well versed with FEH
- Performance tuning, Code Review
- Experience developing interfaces using SAP PI/PO 7.4, 7.5
- Hands-on experience with common adapters (SFTP, JDBC, JMS, REST, SOAP, oDATA, IDOC)
- Thorough knowledge of PI architecture
- The consultant is expected to leverage ABAP and PI solutions tied to integrations using the above methods/technologies.
