Join the Lockheed Martin Production Operations One Lockheed Martin Transformation (1LMX) Plan to Stock (PTS) Information Technology (IT) team as an IT Business Analyst (ITBA) supporting the Transportation Management (TM) / Logistics Execution (LE) will lead the design and integration of end-to-end logistics and transportation solutions within SAP S/4HANA for Production Operations.

This role will drive system and process alignment across shipping, delivery, government sell-off, and transportation planning, ensuring compliant and efficient execution for both commercial and defense programs.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned SAP functional analyst who understands the full logistics lifecycle - from goods issue through customer receipt - and can independently deliver functional design, configuration guidance, and integration support across TM, LE, and adjacent systems.

Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the functional lead for SAP Transportation Management (TM) and Logistics Execution (LE) within Production Operations.
• Design and configure solutions to support domestic, export, and defense logistics flows, including DD250 and government sell-off integration.
• Partner with the Customer Sell-Off / DD250, Warehouse Management (EWM), and Integrated Manufacturing Master Data (IMMD) teams to align data and process handoffs.
• Support configuration and process optimization for freight planning, shipment execution, route determination, and goods issue posting.
• Coordinate integration between TM, LE, and external carriers or freight forwarders, ensuring compliant documentation and tracking.
• Drive requirements management through Jira and Focused Build, maintaining clear traceability between business needs and system design.
• Participate in functional design reviews, testing, and release readiness activities.
• Collaborate with Export Compliance, Government Property, and Quality Assurance to ensure regulatory and contractual adherence.
• Provide leadership and mentorship within the logistics systems domain.

Basic Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship required due to access to defense-controlled information.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an SAP functional analyst or IT business analyst supporting Transportation Management (TM) or Logistics Execution (LE) in an aerospace, defense, or complex manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of freight order management, shipment planning, delivery processing, and goods movement integration.
• Proven experience integrating TM/LE with Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and Production Operations.
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead cross-functional design and integration efforts.

Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with Government Sell-Off (DD250) and DCMA shipping documentation.
  • Understanding of SAP Event Management, Global Trade Services (GTS), and Export Compliance workflows.
  • Experience with carrier integration, EDI, and shipment tracking solutions.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a high-visibility, fast-paced production environment.


Pay Information

GeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States. Locations are assigned a Geo Zone based on the primary work location of the role.
  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 1): $106600.00 - $198000.00
    • Includes metropolitan areas such as Sunnyvale CA; Pal Alto, CA; New York City metropolitan area; Newark, New Jersey; etc.
  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 2): $95900.00 - $178100.00
    • Includes metropolitan areas such as Denver, CO; King of Prussia, PA; Stratford, CT; Moorestown, NJ; etc.
  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 3): $85300.00 - $158300.00
    • Includes metropolitan areas such as Dallas-Fort Worth, TX; Orlando, FL; Grand Prairie, TX; Marietta, GA; etc.
  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 4): $76700.00 - $142500.00
    • Includes metropolitan areas such as Camden, AR; Lexington, KY; Lufkin, TX; etc.

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
