The Opportunity

As a Tax LLM Associate, you will navigate the complexities of the global tax landscape, providing tailored tax services that optimize strategies, minimize risks, and drive compliance. Within our Tax practice, you will be part of a team dedicated to delivering innovative solutions that foster sustainable growth and help clients stay ahead in an ever-changing tax environment. As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagements, developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will be exposed to clients, building meaningful connections, and learning how to manage and inspire others while deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources.

In this role at PwC, you will engage in research, participate in project tasks, and develop basic skills and knowledge. You will use critical thinking to break down complex concepts and interpret data to inform insights and recommendations. Embracing increased ambiguity, you will be comfortable when the path forward isn't clear, asking questions and using these moments as opportunities to grow. - Supporting client engagements by contributing to tax compliance and consulting projects
- Assisting in the preparation and review of consolidated tax returns and income tax provisions
- Participating in corporate tax planning and corporate transactions to drive compliance and maximize outcomes
- Collaborating on post-deal integration and tax and finance integration tasks to enhance business law applications
- Engaging in tax modeling and purchase and sale agreement analysis to inform strategic decisions
- Utilizing intellectual curiosity to explore innovative tax solutions and industry-specific challenges
- Demonstrating teamwork by working collaboratively with tax professionals to achieve common goals
- Communicating effectively with diverse audiences to convey complex tax concepts and strategies

What You Must Have

- Currently pursuing or have completed a Master of Laws degree
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements and demonstrate a commitment to undertaking and passing Bar exam
- Client service associate positions are entry-level roles and job seekers have completed or are in the process of completing their final academic year of educational requirements

The salary range for this position is: $53,500 - $142,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
