Full Job Description
21st Century Home Health Agency is growing fast, and our technology has to keep pace. Salesforce is the backbone of how we capture referrals, convert them to admissions, and equip our community liaisons in the field - which makes this role central to how quickly and how well the agency grows.

You'll own our Salesforce environment - build it, run it, and know it better than anyone. This is a hands-on back-end development job, not configuration or consulting. You'll work directly with leadership to design solutions, write production code, build MuleSoft integrations, and automate our Health Cloud org.

Sometimes you'll work solo, sometimes alongside our outside Salesforce consultants. Either way, you're the internal technical authority. Fully on-site in Burlingame.

What you'll do as the Salesforce Administrator:

What you'll do

  • Write and maintain production Apex - classes, triggers, batch and scheduled jobs, async processing

  • Build custom UI with Lightning Web Components (and Aura where it still lives)

  • Build and optimize MuleSoft integrations connecting Health Cloud to clinical, operational, and third-party systems

  • Design REST and SOAP integrations

  • Write complex SOQL and SOSL, and keep it fast and inside governor limits

  • Automate business logic across the platform - Flows, batch processes, custom scripts

  • Run sandboxes, deployments, and release pipelines (Salesforce DX, change sets, Copado or Jenkins)

  • Scope, review, and validate what external consultants deliver

  • Administer the org - users, profiles, permission sets, roles, security

  • Handle data migrations, ETL, and data integrity with Data Loader and scripts

  • Keep Git discipline and document architecture, customizations, and integration logic

  • Build the reports and dashboards our operational and clinical teams rely on

  • Debug and fix platform issues using developer console, debug logs, and error analysis

To be a success as the Salesforce Administrator

  • 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development, primarily back-end

  • Health Cloud experience - you know the data model and how clinical workflows are built

  • Deep Apex: triggers, batch, future methods, queueable jobs, real test coverage

  • Strong MuleSoft development - API design, deployment, cross-system connectivity

  • JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for LWC work

  • Comfortable writing scripts for automation, data processing, and system operations

  • Track record as an internal developer, and/or working directly with outside Salesforce firms

  • Git required; CI/CD experience (Salesforce DX, Copado, or similar) strongly preferred

  • Solid grasp of governor limits, platform architecture, and the security model

  • Able to turn business and clinical requirements into scalable solutions without hand-holding

Certifications

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator - required

  • Platform Developer I - required; Platform Developer II strongly preferred

  • MuleSoft Certified Developer - required or in progress

$155,000 - $190,000 a year
