Salesforce Developer/DevOps

The Salesforce Developer designs, develops, and implements complex Salesforce solutions to support mission-critical public sector and DoD environments. This role leads technical design, builds scalable Apex and Lightning-based solutions, DevOps, integrates Salesforce with enterprise systems, and supports the full software development lifecycle. The Senior Developer reduces technical debt through best practices, and ensures high-quality, secure, and performant Salesforce implementations.

 

Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Salesforce Developer/DevOps: $110,000 - $135,000k
Pay commensurate with experience.

Salesforce Developer/DevOps Responsibilities Include:  
•    Recent Experience Cloud project work, including Experience Cloud design, development, and implementation.
•    Design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, OmniStudio, and other code-based Salesforce technologies.
•    Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and development teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
•    Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
•    Know how to use Flow for complex requirements, with the ability to bridge out to code as necessary.
•    Develop efficient and scalable code following best practices and industry standards.
•    Develop Lightning Web Components and Visualforce pages to meet business requirements.
•    Integrate Salesforce with other systems and platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
•    Perform code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to standards, and best practices.
•    Troubleshoot and debug Salesforce applications, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner. 
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including other developers, administrators, and QA testers, to ensure successful project delivery. 
•    Stay updated on Salesforce releases, new features, and industry trends, and provide recommendations for enhancing development processes and applications.
•    Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

 

Salesforce Developer/DevOps Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:  
•    Preferred public sector experience or multiple Salesforce project implementation experience.
•    Hands-on experience owning and supporting Salesforce DevOps processes, including CI/CD pipelines, Git-based version control, SFDX/CLI, branching and merge strategies, release management, and deployments across multiple Salesforce environments.
•    Configure Salesforce to resolve defects, user and performance issues
•    Proficiency in hands-on Salesforce development, including Apex programming, Salesforce configuration, and declarative tools such as Flow and OmniStudio.
•    Utilize Apex codebase for custom solutions to defects
•    Resolve data migration issues
•    Resolve interface issues
•    Decompose user needs and requirements into technical user stories
•    Strong expertise in Salesforce platform and applications, with a deep understanding of Salesforce development best practices and standards.
•    Configure and troubleshoot Salesforce to resolve defects, user issues, and performance problems.
•    Experience in developing Lightning Web Components and Visualforce pages.
•    Familiarity with front-end web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.    
•    Knowledge of Salesforce integration patterns and technologies, including REST and SOAP APIs.
•    Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex requirements and design efficient solutions.
•    Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
•    Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Salesforce Certified Administrator) are preferred.
•    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
•    Must possess a Secret security clearance or higher
•    Shall have a minimum of twelve (12) years of general work experience.
•    Shall have three (3) years of experience developing Lightning Web Components 
•    Shall have experience with full-stack engineering (defined as proficient in database development/integration), including three (3) years experience deploying Salesforce production enterprise applications.
•    U.S. Citizenship is required.   
•    Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
