Xylem is hiring a Sales Rep!
Xylem is hiring a Rental Sales Representative to represent our legacy Godwin brand. The Sales Rep is responsible for driving rental growth for Godwin pumps, bypass systems, and related dewatering solutions within an assigned territory. This role focuses on developing and executing sales strategies that expand the customer base, increase rental revenue, and strengthen long-term customer relationships across municipal, industrial, construction, and emergency response markets.

The representative identifies new opportunities, manages existing accounts, and works closely with operations and service teams to deliver responsive, reliable rental solutions that meet customer needs. Success in this role requires strong commercial acumen, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to independently manage a territory while delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
Sales
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers
• Promote and sell rental products and services
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Meet and exceed sales targets
• Provide excellent customer service
Customer Service
• Assist customers with inquiries and concerns
• Handle customer complaints and find satisfactory resolutions
• Ensure customer satisfaction with rental experience
Inventory Management
• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Place orders for new rental products as needed
• Monitor and track rental equipment movement
Contract Management
• Create and manage rental contracts
• Ensure all contracts are accurate and complete
• Collect necessary payments and deposits
• Handle contract extensions, modifications, and terminations
Administrative Tasks
• Process rental reservations and payments
• Maintain and update customer and rental records
• Generate reports on rental activity and sales performance
• Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Safety and Maintenance
• Ensure rental products are in safe and working condition
• Conduct regular maintenance checks and schedule repairs as needed
• Provide safety instructions and guidelines to customers

Qualifications:
• A bachelor's degree in degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field with at least 2 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.

Salary:

The estimated base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
