Sales Operations Manager – QSR
The Sales Operations Manager – QSR SOM responsible for supporting the strategic and operational needs of national account within the quick service restaurant (QSR) business unit. This role ensures seamless execution of customer initiatives, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional alignment to drive commercial success.
Reporting to the Vice President of National Account, this role partners closely with Sales, Category Management, Supply Chain, Finance, and Customer Service to support business planning, performance tracking, and execution excellence. The Sales Operations Manager plays a critical role in enabling the account team to deliver on customer commitments and growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages sales reporting, forecasting, and analytics to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities
- Coordinates cross-functional execution of customer initiatives, including product launches, promotional programs, and supply chain readiness
- Partners with Finance and Supply Chain to ensure accurate demand planning, inventory management, and service level performance
- Leads internal communication and alignment across functions to support customer deliverables and timelines
- Develops and maintains tools, dashboards, and processes to improve sales team efficiency and visibility
- Acts as a key liaison between the account team and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement
- Contributes to a customer-centric culture focused on operational excellence and partnership
- Provide coverage and support for the National Account Manager (NAM) during absences to ensure continuity of service and customer engagement.
- Oversee and maintain customer portals, ensuring data accuracy, timely updates, and effective communication.
Critical Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, experience with Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Service or related; or advanced degree a plus
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations, customer operations, or commercial support roles
- Knowledge of either legacy Novolex or Pactiv asset base including Duro
- Strong analytical skills with experience in sales reporting, forecasting, and performance metrics
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and CRM systems; experience ERP systems
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence without authority
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
Tasks
Supply Chain & Demand Management
- Assist in inventory, forecasting, and order management activities to ensure product availability and service continuity.
- Partner with S&OE, sourcing, manufacturing, and logistics teams to proactively identify and resolve supply chain risks.
Pricing & Commercial Management
- Assist in managing customer pricing programs, quotations, contracts, and pricing administration across multiple product categories and distribution networks.
- Coordinate and support RFP/RFI processes, pricing submissions, and commercial documentation.
Product Commercialization
- Coordinate cross-functional activities including forecasting, product qualification, packaging, , customer approvals, and supply chain readiness.
- Manage product conversions to ensure seamless customer implementation while minimizing inventory and supply disruptions.
Customer Account Management
- Serve as support between customers and internal functional teams to ensure exceptional service and operational execution.
- Assist in compliance with requirements, and strategic account documentation.
Business Operations
- Maintain customer portals, reporting systems, and account data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000 - 120,000 + bonus + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. At Novolex, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
