Sun Mountain Lodge is seeking a dynamic, relationship-driven sales professional to join our team and help grow one of Washington's most distinctive destination resorts. We're looking for someone with strong connections in the Seattle and Pacific Northwest meetings and events community. Whether your expertise is in corporate meetings, associations, retreats, weddings, or group events, we'd love to hear how you would help grow Sun Mountain Lodge.
We're open to candidates who are either Seattle-based or property-based in Winthrop, Washington.
What You'll Do- Develop and grow relationships within the Seattle and Pacific Northwest meetings and events community.
- Prospect for new business through networking, referrals, industry events, and strategic outreach.
- Grow existing accounts while identifying new opportunities.
- Represent Sun Mountain Lodge at industry events, trade shows, client meetings, and networking functions.
- Develop targeted sales strategies that generate new business and increase revenue.
- Manage the sales process from initial prospecting through contracting and account management.
- Negotiate agreements that create value for both clients and the resort.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional client experiences.
- Maintain organized account records, sales activities, and customer profiles.
- Serve as a passionate ambassador for Sun Mountain Lodge and the Methow Valley.
The Ideal Candidate Will Bring- Established relationships within the Seattle and Pacific Northwest meetings and events industry.
- Experience in hospitality, destination, meeting, event, or resort sales.
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Creativity, initiative, and a proactive approach to business development.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous hotel, resort, destination, meeting, wedding, or event sales experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel regularly for client meetings, networking events, trade shows, and property visits.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits:
Salary- $80,168.40 - $95,000.00

Retirement: After 6 months of employment, employees are eligible to enroll for 401k with up to a 5% company match
Paid Time Off: Vacation Time - 80 hours on your first 3 years of service; Sick Time - 1 hour accrued per 30 hours worked
