Job Summary
The Liner Sales Manager is responsible for driving commercial growth and maximizing cargo participation across DOCE trade lanes connecting Central America with North America, the Caribbean, and Northern Europe. This role develops and implements sales strategies, identifies new business opportunities, establishes volume and revenue targets that meet BU objectives, and partners with DOCE agencies to strengthen market position and achieve commercial objectives while managing a sales program with a revenue of $200 million.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive volume and revenue growth targets across established trade lanes.
Identify market trends, competitive activity, and new business opportunities across targeted commodities and customer segments.
Establish annual sales targets and develop account-level volume budgets aligned with DOCE commercial objectives.
Build and strengthen customer relationships to expand existing business and develop new revenue opportunities.
Partner with DOCE agencies to coordinate sales activities, customer development, and execution of commercial priorities.
Utilize Salesforce to monitor account activity, customer visits, sales opportunities.
Lead regular sales meetings with agency sales representatives to evaluate performance, opportunities, and progress against targets.

Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree required.
Experience in ocean transportation, international trade, sales management, contract negotiation, or business development required.
Minimum 10 years of VOCC and/or NVOCC sales experience, with demonstrated experience in North America and Central America trade lanes.
Possess knowledge of international trade, the Shipping Act of 1984 as amended, FMC regulations, anti-trust law, and maritime operations.
Demonstrated success in business development, strategic account management, sales planning, and revenue growth
Strong negotiation, analytical, and executive communication skills.
Ability to influence and coordinate sales activities across an international agency network. Salesforce or comparable CRM experience preferred.

Preference for candidates in Miami, FL or Houston, TX but can be based in Charlotte, NC
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as business needs require.
