Overview

3xLOGIC is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Sales Engineer to support our Video Management Systems (VMS) and Access Control product lines. This role is critical in driving sales success and customer satisfaction through high-quality pre- and post-sales engineering support. The Sales Engineer will collaborate with sales, product, and technical teams to define solutions, deliver demonstrations, and ensure customer needs are met. This position also plays a key role in supporting tradeshows and managing customer demos in the SPS (3xLOGIC, PACOM, SONITROL) Solutions Center.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Engagement
  • Ensure achievement of sales targets and customer satisfaction by delivering the highest-quality pre- and post-sales engineering support.
  • Partner with sales to define solutions that align with customer business requirements and future strategies.
  • Assist with pre-sales activities including developing formal sales plans, quotations, and proposals.
  • Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, training, consultations, and sales support to customers and the sales team.

Technical Expertise & Support
  • Develop detailed knowledge of 3xLOGIC products, relevant technologies, and industry applications, as well as job-related software and tools.
  • Provide specialized technical support on-site or remotely (via phone/email) when required.
  • Identify complex technical issues and escalate to R&D staff as appropriate.
  • Act as the primary technical liaison between customers and the R&D team to ensure issues are effectively resolved.
  • Assist with post-sales support, including providing technical training for VARs when needed.

Solutions Center & Demonstrations
  • Manage and maintain the 3xLOGIC Solutions Center demo environment, ensuring systems are current, functional, and optimized.
  • Host in-person and virtual customer demos to showcase VMS and Access Control solutions.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales on demo scripts, success stories, and training content.

Tradeshows & Events
  • Support tradeshows and industry events, including booth setup, teardown, and technical demonstrations.
  • Represent 3xLOGIC with professionalism, delivering engaging presentations and customer interactions.
  • Provide cross-training and support to ensure effective tradeshow execution.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in electronic security, networking, or related technology fields.
  • Strong knowledge of Video Management Systems (VMS) and Access Control systems.
  • Demonstrated success in pre- and post-sales engineering roles.
  • Experience with tradeshows, customer demos, or technical training.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently for customer engagements, tradeshows, and training events.
