- Act as a senior technical advisor to customers and partners, architecting IP-based and satellite-enabled network solutions tailored to their requirements.
- Conduct in-depth technology assessments, feasibility analyses, and proof-of-concept testing for proposed designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams-Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations-to ensure solution integrity and seamless handoffs from design through execution.
- Develop detailed technical documentation, design specifications, configuration guides, and performance evaluations.
- Support deployments by providing technical oversight, troubleshooting support, and validation testing during implementation and go-live phases.
- Analyze post-sales system performance data and customer feedback to identify optimization and future improvement opportunities.
- Capture evolving technical requirements and field feedback to inform product roadmaps, network design refinements, and emerging technology adoption.
- Participate in technical presentations, workshops, and customer training to build technical understanding and system adoption.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of network infrastructure technologies, wireless communications, satellite systems, and IP networking best practices.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical, Telecommunications, or Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in telecommunications, mobile networks, or broadcast systems engineering.
- Strong understanding of digital communication systems, RF signal theory, IP network design, and traffic management (QoS).
- Experience deploying or managing VSAT platforms, IP routing, and transmission technologies (unicast/multicast, VoIP, IPsec).
- Familiarity with wireless communications systems including Wi-Fi and cellular architectures.
- Proven experience across both pre- and post-sales technical activities, with direct ownership of system design, deployment, and performance outcomes.
- Excellent technical communication and documentation skills, able to convey complex engineering concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfort operating in multicultural, customer-facing environments, with the ability to travel up to 20% across the US.
- High attention to detail and a solution-oriented mindset aimed at achieving long-term customer success.
