Responsibilities

  • Estimate project needs and costs.
  • Analyze client specifications, technical drawings, and identify operational bottlenecks.
  • Evaluate and recommend automation solutions focusing on PLC, HMI, SCADA, and industrial control integration.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to draft concept designs for custom machine builds.
  • Generate technical proposals, scopes of work (SOW), and ROI calculators for client presentations.
  • Prospect and qualify new business opportunities.
  • Negotiate contract terms, project milestones, and pricing to finalize projects.

Sales Engineer
  • Estimate projects
  • Analyze client specifications, technical drawings, and operational bottlenecks.
  • Evaluate automation needs, focusing on PLC, HMI, SCADA, and industrial control integration.
  • Knowledge of Electrical Design.
  • Collaborate with engineering to draft concept designs for custom machine builds.
  • Calculate accurate costings
  • Generate comprehensive technical proposals, scopes of work (SOW), and ROI calculators.
  • Prospect and qualify business.
  • Deliver technical presentations proving the value of custom automation and fabrication solutions.
  • Negotiate contract terms, project milestones, and pricing to close deals.
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree (Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering or related equivalent technical field preferred).
  • Proven track record selling equipment, custom machine builds, or automation systems preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints, GD&T, electrical schematics, and P&ID diagrams.
  • Familiarity with industrial controls (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron, or similar PLCs/HMIs).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes a plus
  • Willingness to travel (mostly local/region currently)

Salary Range: $80,000.00 To $100,000.00/yr+
