Essential Responsibilities & Activities:
As a Sales Account Manager - Automotive Accounts at IAV, an individual contributor responsible for driving business growth by acquiring new customers, expanding strategic relationships, and securing engineering services projects within the automotive and mobility industries. This role serves as a trusted partner to OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and technology companies, leading the full sales lifecycle from opportunity identification through contract award. The successful candidate will leverage industry expertise, a strong professional network, and a consultative sales approach to position the company's engineering capabilities and deliver long-term customer value.
Own and achieve sales, order intake, and revenue targets.
Develop and execute account growth strategies to drive new business opportunities.
Acquire new customers across automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, mobility companies, and technology providers.
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through networking, referrals, industry events, cold outreach, and direct customer engagement.
Establish and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers, including engineering leaders, procurement teams, executives, and stakeholders.
Lead the complete sales process, including prospecting, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution.
Partner with engineering and technical teams to develop competitive customer solutions and value propositions.
