Role Description
Mission:
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for successfully managing multiple complex ERP implementations. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for maintaining overall control of the project schedule, budget, and scope. This role should possess strong leadership skills and have the ability to build strong relationships and alliances with key stakeholders.
Candidates can be located anywhere within the United States or Canada. This is a fully remote role.
Objectives (Key Outcomes):
Manage multiple, simultaneous ERP implementations and customer engagements.
A team with cross-functional Professional Service Managers to ensure success and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Maintain overall control of the project schedule, budget, and scope.
Plan, organize, lead, and monitor the activities of the project team.
Build project plans and schedule resources.
Ensure that project plans and work products are based on approved and agreed-upon requirements.
Ensure that sufficient resources are available for executing all project activities.
Prepare the management deliverables and use these deliverables to conduct the project.
Notify the Client Steering Committee and the Client Project Manager of open issues and submit recommendations to resolve them.
Maintain regular contact with the Client Project Manager, providing the status of project progress.
Track the status of deliverables and any decisions made regarding Project Change Requests and outstanding issues.
Ensure that commitments and changes to commitments resulting from the requirements are negotiated with affected groups.
For approved Project Change Requests, update the appropriate documents and project work plan to reflect changes in requirements and commitments.
Ensure Professional Services Managers are updated and informed as it relates to their customers, including facilitating their engagement where appropriate.
Works closely with the Professional Services Team to ensure solution delivery and consulting engagements achieve expected results and drives customer satisfaction.

Education and Experience
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, MIS or an equivalent field is required.
PMP Certification or the ability to obtain PMP certification within the first 12 months in the position.
Experience:
Three or more years of project management experience required.
Five or more years of manufacturing and/or distribution software implementation experience.
Proven success in software project implementation and deployment.
Experience with Sage X3 is preferred.
Prior professional services and/or consulting experience is preferred.
