ResponsibilitiesHazTek is seeking a
Safety Specialist in New Brunswick, NJ to provide on-site safety oversight for a commercial construction project. This individual will work with field crews and project leadership to identify hazards, promote safe work practices, and support compliance with the project safety plan.
Responsibilities:- Conduct regular site walks and document safety observations.
- Communicate safety concerns and follow up on corrective actions.
- Support compliance with site safety requirements and applicable regulations.
- Assist with safety meetings and incident reporting as needed.
Qualifications- Commercial construction safety experience; high-rise experience preferred
- Strong verbal communication skills
- OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR required
- CHST preferred
- Advance knowledge of construction safety standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills

Pay Range$90,000-110,000
