Pay Range: $36.25 - $46.04

Relocation Reimbursement Available!

Join us as a Safety Program Manager and play a key role in developing and implementing organization-wide safety programs, policies, and procedures. Under the general supervision of the Chief Administrative Officer, you will lead the creation of safety standards, SOPs, training programs, and emergency preparedness initiatives that support a safe, compliant, and trauma-informed environment across all JAMHI sites. As a new role, you will help establish and standardize safety practices, coordinate staff training, support accreditation and regulatory compliance efforts, and foster a culture of safety and readiness. Working closely with leadership and operational teams, you will help ensure the organization remains prepared, compliant, and equipped to respond effectively to routine and high-risk situations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
  • A High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Five years of providing safety-related services in an environment that required interaction with a broad scope of people, and strong customer service skills
  • One year of experience supervising


License/Certification:
  • A valid driver's license is required for this position
    • The incumbent must be able to clear the JAMHI auto insurance screening through the independent insurance carrier

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Enforcement experience
  • De-escalation certification

Pay rates offered are determined based on a standardized scale that considers relevant experience and education.

All JAMHI positions require the ability to pass a criminal background check in accordance with the current state regulation requirements and a valid Alaska driver's license and be able to clear the JAMHI auto insurance screening through the independent insurance carrier if driving.
