Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health & safety or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of construction safety experience required.
• Willingness to travel extensively for project assignments is essential.
• Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and evenings.
• Experience in industrial, automotive, energy/thermal, or data center environments is a plus.
• OSHA 30 Hour certification is required.
• Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certification is mandatory.
• CHST certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage project safety standards to exceed expectations and requirements.
• Conduct safety meetings and training programs, facilitating discussions on safety issues.
• Perform project-specific safety orientations and Toolbox Talks for all personnel.
• Engage with site personnel including subcontractors to manage hazardous conditions and unsafe activities.
• Assist in pre-job planning and auditing processes to identify safety improvements.
• Conduct incident investigations and prepare reports for safety leadership.
• Participate in incident reviews with leadership to strategize on safety improvements.
• Document all aspects of the project safety program, including incidents and violations.
