Position Highlights: - Collaborate with MUSC Health Orangeburg Leadership, as well as system leadership and stakeholders for a robust, integrated cardiology service line.
- Partner with practice leadership to ensure that service line is staffed to meet the needs of the health system, including both clinic operations and the hospital cardiology service line.
- Lead recruitment and onboarding of new cardiology physicians and APPs.
- Oversee MUSC Health Orangeburg's cardiac catheterization services, including onsite percutaneous coronary intervention PCI program.
- Assist in the development of processes, policies, and procedures regarding clinical care and operational performance.
- Support regulatory and compliance objectives, budget needs including capital, information system planning, and other clinical duties.
- Assure compassionate, high-quality, efficient patient care for all cardiology providers at MUSC Health Orangeburg.
- Maintain clinical practice as interventional cardiologist.
