Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing operations, including managing tools, personnel, logistics, and pressure control equipment (PCE) to ensure safe and efficient service delivery. Provides technical expertise to customers while maintaining a high level of professionalism in the field.
Duties and Responsibilities- Plan and execute operation of wireline unit (tools, logistics, crews, PCE, etc.)
- Demonstrate professional attitude and provide customer with operational expertise
- Calculate hydrostatic pressures and hole volumes and understand the hydrate formation envelope
- Understand the operations and principles of basic mechanical and hydraulic components
- Understand pressure control equipment and theory
- Complete field invoicing and third party cost recovery
- Initiates self-improvement through soft skills training (LMS)
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities- Critical thinking ability
- Demonstrate leadership
- Able to work on a 24 hour on call basis
Education and Experience- 18 years of age
- Class 5 drivers license (minimum)
- Have or acquire a class 3 license with Q endorsement considered an asset.
- Mentor Level 1, 2 and 3 Operators with tool knowledge, truck maintenance and shop equipment maintenance
- Maintain required safety, operational and regulatory documentation as required
- Leadership role in the shop (shop maintenance, shop equipment maintenance, yard maintenance, housekeeping, security, supervising operators, restocking of units with tools and supplies)
- Successful completion of the pre-hire testing (physical / hearing test / drug screen/background check)
