RN Unit Manager

Qualifications

• Valid NYS RN License required
• 2 years of long-term care experience preferred
• 1 year of charge nurse experience preferred
• Strong computer skills necessary
• Excellent communication skills essential
• Positive attitude and leadership qualities are a must

Responsibilities

• Supervise all activities within the assigned unit
• Establish and implement employee policies and procedures
• Maintain high standards of care for the unit
• Review resident records and assess quality of care
• Monitor overall care and evaluate individual resident cases
• Address questions or complaints from residents and families
• Represent unit interests to upper management
