Location:Dallas Regional Medical Center 6esquite, TX

TheTrauma Nursing Manager willoversee the daily operations of the TraumaServices, ensuring safe patient flow, proper staffing, and compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.They willsupport and develop nursing staff while collaborating with physicians and other teams to deliver efficient, high quality care.TrumaRNManager9salsomonitorkey performance metrics, manage resources, and lead initiatives that improve patient outcomes and department readiness.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

  • Responsible for coordinating resources and activities necessary to ensure the Trauma Services meets regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinates the collection of Trauma data and maintains statistical information for the Trauma Registry.
  • Coordinates the tracking of Trauma patients throughout the Trauma system (pre-hospital to rehabilitation).
  • Coordinates trauma educational programs for the institution as well as public education and prevention programs in the community.
  • Teaching and coordination of educational program experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative relationship with other health care members in the promotion and provision of comprehensive patient care.
  • Communication/writing skills, considerable emotional/physical/mental stamina and stability.

Additional Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • ENPC and CEN or CCRN preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
