Associate's Degree Nursing Required Or
Bachelor's Degree Nursing Preferred
Experience1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting is required
2 Years Experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting is preferred
Licenses and CertificationsRN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required And
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required

What You Will DoAs a nurse, you will focus on responding to others priorities regarding safety, physical and psychological needs while paying close attention to maintenance of comfort and human emotion during health and illness, while providing safe patient care.
The charge nurse role will support and actively participate in shared governance/councils which is THR's structure for decision making.
