RN/Registered Charge Nurse, Observation Unit

Fast-paced, high volume department is looking for top skilled RN. Is that you?

Work location: 4400 Long Prairie Rd., Flower Mound, TX 75028

Work hours: Full time, nights working 7pm-7am

Here's What You Need

Education
Nursing Diploma Nursing Required Or
Associate's Degree Nursing Required Or
Bachelor's Degree Nursing Preferred

Experience
1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting is required
2 Years Experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting is preferred

Licenses and Certifications
RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required And
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required

Skills
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do

As a nurse, you will focus on responding to others priorities regarding safety, physical and psychological needs while paying close attention to maintenance of comfort and human emotion during health and illness, while providing safe patient care.

The charge nurse role will support and actively participate in shared governance/councils which is THR's structure for decision making. This role directly assists leadership on a particular unit or units and shift, by offering staff guidance and support.
