Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations in a specific unit.
Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
Engage patients and families in care planning as appropriate.
Maintain regulatory compliance in nursing practice.
Assume responsibility and accountability for nursing care outcomes.
Guide and direct unlicensed nursing personnel in interdisciplinary care delivery.
Collaborate and communicate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Full Job Description
Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Location: (ability to travel to Evanston, Glenbrook and Highland Park Hospitals)
Full time
Hours: Availability to start between am and 11:30am Mon - Fri with call requirements (weeknights and weekends included)
What you will do:
Independently provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations on a specific unit. Utilizes the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care. Includes patient and family in the plan of care as appropriate. Maintains regulatory compliance in individual practice. Assumes the responsibility, accountability, and authority for outcomes of nursing care and to make decisions based on their therapeutic relationship with the patient. Guides and directs assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care. Communicates and collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
