Responsibilities Why This Role Matters

As Nurse Supervisor, you will help ensure the successful delivery of nursing services by providing leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff while promoting a culture of quality, safety, and compassion.

You will be responsible for:

Clinical Leadership & Resident Care
  • Supervise daily nursing activities and ensure care is delivered in accordance with federal, state, and facility standards
  • Conduct rounds throughout the facility to monitor resident condition, care needs, and staff performance
  • Provide clinical support and guidance to nursing staff during assigned shifts
  • Ensure changes in resident condition are identified, communicated, and addressed appropriately
  • Support admissions, transfers, discharges, and ongoing resident care coordination
  • Review documentation, treatment delivery, and care practices to promote quality outcomes
  • Partner with residents, families, providers, and interdisciplinary teams to support individualized care plans
Team Leadership & Staff Support
  • Provide direction, coaching, and support to nursing team members
  • Assist with staff assignments and ensure appropriate coverage to meet resident care needs
  • Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment
  • Support onboarding, education, and continued development of nursing staff
  • Foster an atmosphere of respect, communication, and collaboration across departments
Quality, Compliance & Safety
  • Ensure nursing practices follow facility policies, regulations, and professional standards
  • Support infection prevention, safety initiatives, and regulatory readiness
  • Participate in quality improvement efforts and facility committees as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident information and ensure compliance with HIPAA requirements
  • Respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and resident concerns
From Up to Qualifications

What We're Looking for: 

  • Possession of a state license in applicable state you are performing work and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience and at least one (1) year of experience in a nursing leadership role
  • Interest or experience in geriatrics
  • Current BLS/CPR
  • Experience with dementia population desirable
  • This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
