We are seeking a RN Nurse Manager Childrens Services for our team to be an innovator. Job Summary and Qualifications The manager demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the care of the patient. The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the planning, directing and provision of nursing care to patients in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act, physician's orders, recognized nursing techniques, policies, procedures, established standards and administrative policies. What qualifications you will need: - Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions) - Bachelors Degree from an accredited School of Nursing - Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date - Current Neonate Resuscitate (NRP) certification or must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date - Current STABLE certification or must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date - (RN) Registered Nurse - Minimum 3 years of PICU or Pediatrics (Peds) clinical nursing experience in an acute care Hospital setting - Minimum 1 year of experience as a full time Charge Nurse/ Coordinator, Nursing Administrative Supervisor, or Nursing Management in an acute care Hospital setting HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is a 380-bed acute-care hospital. Offering a full range of services. We are home to the most experienced Heart Institute on the Treasure Coast. Lawnwood Hospital provides interventional and therapeutic care, including open-heart surgery. Other hospital services include labor/delivery, pediatrics, orthopedics, oncology, nuclear medicine, adult and pediatric emergency services, and diagnostic services. We also offer inpatient, and outpatient surgical services. Lawnwood Hospital is a designated Certified Primary Stroke Center. The Physical Rehabilitation Center is CARF accredited. We are a Level II Trauma Center. We are verified by the American College of Surgeons. We offer a freestanding ER in Vero Beach. We provide emergency treatment for adults and children. We also offer the area's only Level III Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Units. At HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital patients come first - no matter what!
