About the Unit - II West

The Registered Nurse utilizes nursing theory, technical expertise, and effective communication skills to deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients and their families.

The RN assesses patient needs, collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans of care, provides direct patient care, evaluates patient outcomes, and coordinates care throughout the patient's entire episode of treatment.

II West provides care for patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions and offers new graduate nurses an excellent opportunity to develop a strong foundation in medical-surgical nursing.

As an RN on II West, you will care for a diverse adult patient population while developing essential clinical skills in assessment, medication administration, care planning, patient education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and clinical decision-making.

You will also provide patient and family education to promote understanding of self-care following hospitalization, including lifestyle changes that support ongoing health and healing.

Our RNs play an important role in creating a healing environment by promoting patient comfort, providing emotional support, and partnering with patients and families throughout their hospital stay.

Compensation

New Graduate RN Hire Rate: $41.93/hour
