RN, Med Surg

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current and valid RN license for California required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in novice to advanced beginner clinical nursing practice.
• Experience in acute care settings is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for medical and surgical patients with varying acuity levels.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the medical team.
• Educate patients and families on health management and recovery processes.
• Participate in team meetings to enhance unit cohesiveness and professional growth.
