The
RN Manager Cane Bay ER is responsible for the management of nursing practice and operations on a designated unit/service. This includes, but is not limited to, the management of: clinical nursing practice, staff recruitment, retention, labor relations, supply chain and budget, staffing, employee performance evaluation, quality improvement, staff education, medical records, internal and external regulatory and survey requirements.
What qualifications you will need:A.Licensure/Certification/Registration:
• Current unencumbered South Carolina or Multistate Compact Registered Nurse License
• BLSHealthcare provider on hire (American Heart Association)
• ACLS Certification on hire or within 6 months of hire or transfer
• PALS Certification on hire or within 6 months of hire or transfer
• TNCC Certification on hire or within 6 months of hire or transfer
• ENPC Certification on hire or within 6 months of hire or transfer
- NRP (MCMC, CPED, SMC, BPED) Certification on hire or within 6 months of hire or transfer
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) Certification on hire or within 6 months of hire or transfer date
• NIHStroke Scale Certification must be complete within 90 days of hire.
• CEN must be achieved within 12 months of hire or transfer if not current.
• CPEN must be achieved within 12 months of hire or transfer if not current.
B. Education/Experience: Bachelors degree in Nursing, Masters degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration or Business is preferred. 3+ years of acute care experience, with at least one year of leadership experience in healthcare within specialty. Preferred degree can substitute for 1 years of the required experience.
