Providence is calling for Registered Nurses (RNs) to Providence Mount St. Vincent in Seattle, Washington.

We are looking for Full time and Part time for all shifts (Day, Evening, Variable)

About the role:

Registered Nurses (RNs) work alongside an interdisciplinary team to provide whole-person quality care to patients in need. Nurses are empowered by our shared governance model that includes nursing staff in the process of creating practice standards and expectations.

About the department:

Providence Mount St. Vincent's Transitional Care Unit is an intermediate and high-acuity department that facilitates recovery from serious injury, illness, disease or medical condition. From the moment patients leave the hospital, we guide and care for their physical, emotional and spiritual needs before they're able to return home, preparing them for the road ahead. Our Transitional Care Unit is an interdisciplinary haven for healthcare professionals interested in handling medical complexities (fractures, complex wound management, IV management, dialysis, oxygen therapy, TPN etc.) in a more comfortable and home-like setting for the patients.

Required Qualifications:
  • Education sufficient for licensure
  • Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
  • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing
  • Food Handler's Permit
  • 1 year Med-Surg experience (Acute vs Sub-Acute)
  • Supervisory experience with nursing assistants/CNAs

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
