Registered Nurse - Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutritional HealthPosition OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our ambulatory clinic team. Our RN plays an essential role in coordinating patient care, providing education and supporting treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care coordination for challenging digestive diseases including:
- Inflammatory Bowel Disease (Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis)
- Hepatology patients with liver-related disorders
- Pancreatobiliary patients with pancreatic and biliary conditions
- General gastroenterology patients requiring ongoing management and follow-up
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, medications, procedures, and treatment plans
- Manage telephone triage, patient questions, medication coordination, and follow-up care
- Assist with biologic therapies, specialty medications, prior authorizations
- Promote evidence-based practice and excellent patient experiences

- 4x10 hour weekdays is available, candidate must be flexible to change schedule from time to time, based on department schedule needs.
Qualifications- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license to work in Colorado.
- 1-year of RN experience is required.
- Prior ambulatory care, gastroenterology, hepatology, infusion, or specialty clinic experience preferred - "GI Knowledge"
- Strong communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-focused care
- BLS through the American Heart Association with card in-hand before start date.

Salary- BSN - $36.76/hour to $54.06/hour
- Valley View recognizes a 4% pay difference for (RN-ADN, BSN, MSN)
- Annual Bonuses based upon organizational and individual.
- Eligible for a $4,000 bonus after your first year and an additional $4,000 bonus after your second year. (Internal Candidates not eligible)
