Brayman Construction in Saxonburg, PA is looking to hire a
full-time Risk Manager to join our expanding, multi-entity organization. The role will be overseeing insurance programs, claims administration, risk assessments, and operational risk management. The Corporate Risk Manager will be responsible for managing insurance programs and renewals, evaluating coverage and costs, supporting contract requirements, overseeing claims and settlements, and providing financial and performance reporting. This role will partner across the organization to align risk management initiatives with business strategies while supporting the Corporate Safety and Human Resources Departments.
Risk Manager Responsibilities:- Own Brayman's Insurance Programs: Manage multiple insurance risk-transfer programs from renewal and audits through budgeting, forecasting, and coverage optimization.
- Manage Claims & Risk: Oversee claims administration, reporting, periodic reviews, settlement negotiations, and invoicing while conducting accident investigations and risk assessments at project sites.
- Evaluate Contract & Insurance Requirements: Review contract documents, evaluate coverage and costs, recommend appropriate insurance strategies, and negotiate final coverage requirements.
- Provide Risk & Financial Oversight: Monitor insurance expenses, payment timing, premium finance agreements, and key insurance and safety performance indicators.
- Partner Across the Organization: Work with Corporate Safety, Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, and other departments to support business needs and align risk management initiatives with company strategies.

Risk Manager Required Skills & Abilities:- Strong leadership, teamwork, analytical and communication skills, with a proven track record of progressive accomplishments required.
- Ability to multi-task and manage confidential information.
- Previous experience with risk management recording tools.
- High working-level knowledge of traditional property and casualty policies and specialty line exposures.
- Ability to travel, role is primarily indoors in an office environment; occasional travel to jobsites in a construction and/or manufacturing environment that can be dirty and noisy.
Corporate Risk Manager Education & Experience:- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management or Finance required.
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience required.
- Combination of broker and corporate experience preferred.
- ARM (Associate in Risk Management) or CRIS (Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist) designation preferred.

SafetyThis is a Safety Sensitive Position requiring work on project sites, including federal projects. Project sites contain various safety hazards associated with heavy construction. This position may require working at heights, in confined spaces, around heavy equipment, and under constantly changing circumstances. This position may also entail project site work at night and on weekends on an as needed basis. This position will be subject to more stringent drug testing and compliance policies associated with our status as a Federal Contractor.
